This tutorial will teach you how to DIY a labubu doll, and what you need to prepare for making your own big into energy Labubu.
How to tell Labubu is real? Doesn't matter! You can also make this into any color you like - big into energy secret, colorful, etc.

For all the fellow slow-handed fans who never manage to grab the official Labubu cuties, this one’s for you 💪
🪡 Before You Start
✅ Beginner friendly! (I have zero cross-stitch skills myself)
⏱ Time needed: about 4–6 hours — the first one always takes longer
🧵 Essential tools: needle, thread, fabric, scissors, polyfill (PP cotton)
✨ Optional: nail polish, paintbrush, flexible coated wire
🧶 Materials

Labubu face & accessories
$3 per set on Aliexpress -
Fabric: artificial rabbit fur, 50 × 25 cm piece is enough for one plush.
$4 per piece on Aliexpress -
Polyfill (PP cotton) – just a handful.

Coated soft wire – optional, if you want poseable arms or ears.

Needle / thread / scissors – basic tools you probably already have.

Labubu Sewing Pattern + Video Tutorial

✂️ Sewing Steps
- Punch holes for attaching the face.
- Cut out all the pieces according to the labubu-sewing-pattern (including the inner ears): front face, left back head, right back head, two cheeks, body, left outer ear, right outer ear, left inner ear, and right inner ear.
- Align the pointed corners of the ears and back head, sew them together, and stitch all the marked areas.
- Sew the top-of-head piece.
- Attach the back-of-head and ear base.
- Stitch the two head pieces together.
- Sew both arms onto the body.
7. Sew both legs.
8. Connect arms and legs to the body.
9. Stuff the hands and feet, then close them up.
10. Add wire inside (optional).
11. Attach the body and head.
12. Fill with polyfill.
13. Sew up the back — surgery complete! 🎉 your own "pop mart labubu" is now ready for being a bagcharm/keychain.
